Ring creation united by a single vision

At ith, everyone involved in the ring-making process is earnestly engaged in the art of craftsmanship.

From the time when I was the only person involved from consultation to production and delivery at a small atelier in Kichijoji, Tokyo, the number of ateliers has gradually increased and the number of people has grown, but there is one thing that has not changed.

That is the fact that everyone involved in the process of making a ring is sincerely committed to creating a ring that truly satisfies.

We earnestly work on each ring, considering the customer who ordered it and their background, aiming to bring joy to them.

When I first started the atelier, I did everything by myself, from consulting with customers to making the rings.

As the number of ateliers increases, the number of concierges consulting with customers increases, and the number of rings to be made also increases. The number of craftsmen to make rings also increases.

As the scale of the company grew, many people came to cooperate with me, but to be honest, I was anxious about the growth of the company.

I was concerned that even with an increase in the number of people, we might not be able to create products that truly understand and meet the needs of our customers. I also worried that the essential elements of ith, which I had built up over time, might be compromised by the various perspectives and feelings of different people.

I was very anxious that I might lose the value of ith that I had in my mind as it changed.

However, we often receive heartwarming words from customers like, "Because you took the time to understand and discuss with us, we found the perfect ring!" or during the delivery, "You created a ring that incorporated all our wishes, it turned out even better than we imagined! We're grateful to the artisan who made it."

Hearing such words from our customers makes me feel that because everyone is here, I am able to receive joy from many customers that I could not have achieved alone, and that I can be confident in what ith is now.

I came to understand that the essence of ith when it was small—sincerely and earnestly shaping what customers desire—is a shared commitment among everyone involved in ring-making at ith.

I realized that it is also meaningful to continue to believe in the feelings I had at the beginning in order to keep the value unchanged for a long time.

There are many people involved in the creation of a ring, in addition to the concierge who talks with the customer in the atelier.

There are the craftsmen who make the rings, those who manage the progress of production, and those who inspect the items.

When I started out on my own, I had no idea that so many people would share ith's thoughts and feelings, and that we would be making rings together, so I am truly grateful to all the people involved in ith.

Because there is a shared commitment among everyone to sincerely and earnestly create excellent rings, I believe that even with a diverse group of people with different values and experiences, we can understand and create rings that everyone is satisfied with.

Even with many people, everyone shares the same sentiment. "We want customers to be happy", keeping it that simple.

We will continue to pursue ith's crafting in the future.
